In the eighteenth century – a time in Delhi and throughout India that was marked by political turmoil and religious persecution – Sant Charandas explained in simple words the age-old principles of spirituality. His teachings emphasize the simple path of devotion, that the light of the Supreme Being is within everyone, and that the way to contact the Lord is also within. This book consists of a summary of the life and teachings of Sant Charandas, followed by a selection of his poetry.
